CHAIRMAN STATEMENT
KGFH is still very new and young. Established in June 2019 under the Non-Government Act
2002 of the United Republic of Tanzania. Within its mandate, KGFH has in place a three year
strategic plan 2020-2022, expecting to encounter an enabling environment leading to provision of
services to the targeted communities.
Annual plans and budget will be drawn from the strategic plan for each fiscal year of KGFH
running from January 1st - December 31st of each year. Consequently, we have the annual plan and
budget for year 2020 along with this strategic plan. It has been possible to prepare the Annual
plan and budget for 2020 because it has been easy to get all required data and information
because our head office is in Arusha region in the city of Arusha. For the next two years data and
information will be collected in year 2020, as a result, drawing a big portion of the estimated
budget, which cannot be avoided.
I call upon KGFH members to be committed and uphold teamwork spirit, so as to be able to achieve the targets set in this strategic plan. It is expected that successful implementation of this plan will considerably contribute towards the well-being of the targeted groups and various communities. We are very thankfully to all stakeholders who contributed in one way or another to the process of preparing this strategic plan. Finally, entrusted to KGFH board of directors, is to look for resources necessary for financing and implementing; in order to effectively realize the objectives is this strategic plan. It becomes a pre-condition to enhance partnership and networking with all relevant stakeholders, including other foundations/nonprofits and even for profit organizations. Most important is the enhancement of partnership with our potential donors of KGFH for financing the plan.
